Hi All
I am extremely pleased to announce that Westfield Table Tennis Club will be re-opening tonight, Thursday 24th September 2020. We have introduced an on-line Booking and Membership system which will allow players to book and pay in advance for table hire and junior coaching sessions. This will remove our staff from having to handle cash; allow us to efficiently manage table allocation; manage attendee numbers in line with our risk assessment policy; and maintain records for 21 days for track and trace purposes. The system will allow players to book "bubbles" up to three tables allowing players known to each other to swap practice partners during their 90 minute sessions. It is simple to use but we recommend that you watch the 10 minute Getting Started video prior to registering on the new system. Unfortunately the video lacks any sound at the moment but it should be fairly clear in showing how to register as a non-member on the system, how to book a session and how to purchase a full membership. If you experience any problems using the system please feel free to email westfield@
For following weeks, on Mondays there will be junior coaching from 6pm-7.30pm and from 7.30-9.00pm for practice. On Tuesdays there will be two practice sessions available to book on from 7.00-8.30pm and 8.30-10.00pm and on Thursdays there will be two sessions available to book from 7.00-8.30pm and 8.30-10.00pm. There will be eight tables available to hire each evening which will allow us to configure and operate a COVID-19 safe environment under Table Tennis England guidelines. Players are required to clean the tables during the last 10 minutes of each session and, having done so, must leave the venue as soon as possible. Tables and barriers need to be cleaned and put away at the end of the evening. We will be providing cleaning fluid and paper towels to allow this to be undertaken.
I look forward to seeing you all in the near future.

The Club are working hard to get ready for a return to play.
We were hopeful that it was going to be this Thursday (20th August) but with Wellingborough and the surrounding areas on the 'High Risk' list for Covid, the Leisure Centre will remain closed, until the local authorities deem it safe to re-open.
The Club will receive an update on Friday, and if there is any change, this will be communicated as soon as possible.
Please note the attached documents related to Returning to Play.

With regards local league matches. We should be respectful of anyone who chooses not to shake hands after a game, whilst hopefully finding some other way of showing sportsmanship.
